  • The interior shopping complex is defined by a soaring 900-foot-long galleria mall, five major levels, and more than three hundred retail units.
  • The shopping galleria/atrium links the Eaton's department store to the north, Queen Street to the south, and is also connected to The Bay department store via an overhead bridge at its Queen Street side.
  • The retail component of this complex encompasses 484,960 square feet of space.
  • The construction costs for phases one to five of this complex totalled $93.4 million (CDN).
  • Zeidler Partnership Architects, which was involved with the design of the entire complex (office towers and shopping galleria), also designed the new Centre Court addition as part of the Toronto Eaton Centre Redevelopment in late 1999/early 2000.
  • The newly added Centre Court is located at Albert and James Streets, on the west side of the Eaton Centre.
  • The Toronto Eaton Centre Redevelopment project undergone in late 1999/early 2000 included a five-storey addition with a number of new retail units such as Indigo Books & Music and a new accessible entrance encompassed by a large urban outdoor plaza.
  • The Gross Area of the entire complex, i.e.office space, retail, parking, and shopping galleria, totals 3,434,290 square feet of space.
  • The Centre Court Redevelopment construction costs totalled $12 million (CDN).
  • Zeidler Partnership Architects were also involved with the August 2004 Eaton Centre Yonge/Dundas Redevelopment in which a gross area of 4,560 square feet of new development was added which cost a total of $24 million (CDN).
