  • These were the world's first leaning high-rise buildings.
  • Construction on the towers was halted from December 1989 to September 1994.
  • The dramatic end of the Spanish movie " El Día de la Bestia " was set in the penthouse and basement of one of the Towers.
  • To avoid confusion, the Puerta de Europa I helipad is blue and Puerta de Europa II is red.
  • Another high-rise set of the movie 'El Día de la Bestia' was Edificio Capitol.
  • Puerta de Europa I is a centimetre taller than Puerta de Europa II.
