  • The Clapton Park project was built in seven phases. Stage 1B, approved in 1967, consisted of one 20-storey tower (Repton Court) and Stage 2B, approved in 1968, consisted of four 20-storey towers (Ambergate, Bakewell, Norbury & Sudbury Courts). Stage 2A, approved in 1970, consisted of one 7 storey block (Wharfedale Court). Stages 3 & 4, approved in 1970, consisted of a further three 6 storey blocks (Longford, Ilkeston and Heanor Courts). Stages 6 & 7, approved in 1972, consisted of one 6 storey block (Kirkstead Court).
