Freiburg im Breisgau, or just Freiburg, is known as the Capital of the Black Forest. The city is located in the three-country-triangle Germany-Switzerland-France. Surrounded by Tuniberg and Kaiserstuhl wine regions, Freiburg has a mild, pleasent climate and is widely known as Germany's city with the most sunshine. The best views of the city can be seen from the Schauinsland Mountain (elevation 1248m/4096ft); a cable railway will take you there from the city center.
There is also a very big and famous church called the Freiburger Muenster.
