  • The new Ford Center opened in November of 2011 and attained LEED Silver Certification in 2012.
  • Legendary musician Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band officially opened the new arena on November 9, 2011.
  • The arena is home to the NCAA Purple Aces and the SPHL Evansville Thunderbolts.
  • A stainless steel wall sculpture by Roger Stoller was installed in 2013. Hidden in the metal lace pattern are elements from the city's flora and fauna.
  • This arena was built as a replacement for Roberts Municipal Stadium, which was demolished in 2013.
