Facts

  • A 2007 engineering assessment found that weather damage had compromised the structural integrity of the tower, requiring its demolition down to the 22-foot high stone base.
  • Hulley Tower was built by Stetson's second president, Dr. Lincoln Hulley, to house the Eloise Chimes, four large and seven smaller rough cast bells ranging from 575 to 3,000 pounds.
