Facts

  • This would have been the tallest building in Evanston if built, and the tallest building in Chicago's north suburbs.
  • The tower is set at the north end of the lot to preserve lake views from neighboring Sherman Plaza.
  • The design called for the incorporation of the facades of the existing 3-story Hahn Building in the middle of the block.
  • This proposal was replaced in 2007 by the newer Fountain Square Tower development plan, with a different developer and architect.
