Facts

  • The Eastman Building stood on the site of the BoiseTower project.
  • The building was renamed the Eastman Building in 1926 after its builder, Hosea Eastman.
  • Originally four stories tall, two additional stories were added in 1910.
  • After being purchased by the Boise Redevelopment Authority in 1972, it fell into disrepair and was finally destroyed by fire in 1987.
