  • The hotel ony reached 12 floors before construction was halted and was demolished in 1928.
  • This was to have been similiar to Commodore Peary Stolz's Fleetwood Hotel in Miami Beach in both luxury and amenities.
  • This was to have been completed in 1926, however construction was halted due to insufficient funds.
  • The developer of the hotel claimed that guests of the hotel would have panoramic views of the mountains stretching 200 miles into South Carolina and Georgia.
