  • In 2000 the theater was demolished, and the office building completely gutted and stripped to make room for the Post Bar and updated office space.
  • The 6th floor rooftop deck will be a 10,000 square feet open-air bar and restaurant, that will overlook downtown and Comerica Park.
  • The first, second, and rooftop floors are being renovated to make room for the Post Bar. The third, fourth, and fifth floors are being renovated to make room for loft office space.
  • The building measures 79'-0" to the railing that surrounds the main roof deck, which is an outdoor entertainment deck.
  • The Madison Theatre Building was abandoned in 1982.
  • The Madison Building was built around the Madison Theater as an insurance policy. The building was modernized in 1961, completely stripping it of its terra cotta facade.
