  • It is connected to the Gallery Building by a skyway bridging St. Peter Street.
  • St. Joseph's is the oldest hospital in Minnesota, opened by the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1853, at the height of a cholera epidemic.
  • The tallest section is called the Archbishop John Gregory Murray Tower, and was an addition to the five-story circa-1926 North Tower. The section to the west and south was completed in 1972 and is called the Carondelet Tower.
