Facts

  • Its signature feature is a large, silver ribbon shaped design element inspired by the various NASCAR tracks encircling the entire structure.
  • In addition to regular NASCAR exhibits, other features include a 250-seat theatre, NASCAR themed restaurant and television studios.
  • The main entrance inside the museum features a gently sloping ramp from 0° to 36° as it leads visitors from the ground to main exhibit level. The gradual increase in slope was inspired from the degrees of banking at all NASCAR tracks from 0° at Watkins Glen to 36° at Bristol Motor Speedway.
