Bartlett Grain Company, Inc., Hart-Bartlett-Sturtevant River Rail Grain Elevator
Structure in General
The twin grain elevators are connected in the middle by square elevator tower. The
tower is not an occupied structure (residential or office), but there are windows/vents
on a total of 18 levels from the ground to the top, which has an aircraft warning beacon.
Virtually all of the grain passing through this complex is from the vast wheat fields of Kansas.
Grain arrives at the complex via Union Pacific RR. There are both truck docks and access
to barges on the Missouri River to haul grain to St. Louis and then down the Mississippi.
