  • Built by Christian Thiesen, a Danish immigrant who became a developer, it was one of the first modern office blocks in Pensacola.
  • It was the first building in the area with steam heat, an elevator, and janitorial service.
  • It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
