Facts

  • Originally the Colonial Hospital, this was the main building of the Rochester Methodist Hospital, now fully-integrated into the Mayo Clinic. The 6th floor was added in 1916.
  • Originally E-shaped, with three wings facing 1st Avenue, the central and south wings were demolished to allow for construction of the Eisenberg Building.
