  • Standing prominently along Interstate 85, this tower is in the shape of a large peach as a tribute to the importance of peach orchards within the region.
  • Topped by a 12-foot stem and a large leaf weighing in at 7 tons and being 60 feet long and 16 feet wide in size.
  • In being able to hold one million gallons of water, the tower has a thickness of only a quarter inch in some places.
  • A similar Peach Water Tower can be found in Clanton, Alabama.
