  • The building has been listed in the National Register of Historic Places since December 02, 1981.
  • Pietro Belluschi was hired as a consultant during the 1967 remodeling.
  • Originally the Sovereign Hotel, the structure was converted into an apartment building in 1938.
  • During its time as a hotel, a large sign faced the northeast.
  • The westside mural was painted in 1989 by Richard Haas; the trompe l’oeil style depicts members of the Lewis and Clark expedition.
