Facts

  • Boley announced the construction of a new building for his Boley Clothing Company in 1908, to be built on property he had leased for 99 years at 12th and Walnut. There was a saloon on the property at the time, but that was cleared away and construction began in July 1908.
  • This building was preserved and forms the southeast corner of the Town Pavilion.
  • The building is the new home of nationally known Andrews McMeel Universal Press, moving its 200 employees from the Country Club Plaza.
