  • The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
  • The clock tower is topped by a 9 foot, 11 inch statue of lady justice weighing 125 pounds.
  • Upon its removal during the 1981 renovation, it was discovered that lady justice was missing her left arm which had previously held the scales of justice.
