  • This building featured a steeply-peaked chateauesque roof on the Meridian Street side, with dormered windows on the top floor.
  • 30 South Meridian now occupies this site.
  • This building housed the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce and its predecessor, the Indianapolis Commercial Club until moving to the Chamber of Commerce Building, four blocks to the north on North Meridian Street, in the mid 1920s.
  • Colonel Eli Lilly, founder of the pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly, was also the principal investor and founder of the Indianapolis Commercial Club.
