  • When opened in 1914, the Deming Hotel contained 250 rooms, making it Terre Haute's largest hotel, and one of the largest in the state of Indiana.
  • After dissolution of the Deming Land Company in 1963, the hotel was purchased by the Hulman Company before being transferred to Indiana State University.
  • Renovation into apartments for the elderly and disabled took place in 1979.
