Facts

  • The sixth-floor auditorium is two-stories in height and has a balcony level.
  • Originally constructed as Lansing's Masonic Temple, the building was converted to university usage for Cooley Law School in 1974.
  • Cooley Law School held it last classes in the building in 2008, and moved out its operations department in the Fall of 2014 leaving the building vacant.
  • This example of Classic/Greek Revival was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
