Facts

  • The building was originally constructed as housing for senior citizens, and included a one-story office annex constructed on the south side of the building in 1992 for the Lansing Housing Commissions.
  • The apartment tower was abandoned after an arson fire on February 7, 2000. The one-story office annex continued to be used by the Lansing Housing Commission, however, until 2012.
  • Purchased from the Lansing Housing Commission in December 2015 by George F. Eyde Family LLC, the owners secured renovations funds for the building in September 2017 to convert the building to 96 residential apartments with office and retail space on the first floor.
  • The building was named in honor Ann M. Oliver, president of the Lansing Housing Commission 1966 to 1968.
