Facts

  • Also designed by Studio Daniel Libeskind, the two towers of the unbuilt Jefferson Plaza Redevelopment resembled this tower.
  • The building features two separate vertical circulation cores. This allows multiple units to have both Cincinnati skyline and Kentucky hills views.
  • Kenton County Commissioners approved this and a more traditional design during March 2005.
  • The initial design scheme called for a tower with a crescent-shaped footprint and an arching rooftop from the 11th floor to the top, supporting green terraces.
  • The name refers to its location at the south end of the 19th-century landmark John A. Roebling Bridge, connecting Downtown Cincinnati with Covington. John Roebling went on to design the larger and more famous Brooklyn Bridge in New York City.
  • Upon completion, this became the tallest owner-occupied residential building in both the State of Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati Metropolitan Area.
  • An office building (RiverCenter South 2) was proposed for this site in 2002, but was never built.
  • Groundbreaking ceremonies took place on November 17, 2005, with architect Daniel Libeskind present.
