  • This is Birmingham's first steel frame high-rise.
  • A large banking chamber and a new parking deck were added to the structure as part of the building's most recent renovations.
  • Combined with the Brown Marx Tower, John Hand Building, and Empire Building, the Woodward Building was a part of what was billed as being "heaviest corner on earth" in the early 1900s.
  • Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
