  • The historic blackboard with white chalk trading figures from the last day of business has been preserved to show how cattle and hogs were brought to market and auctioned for more than a century.
  • The personification of a Kansas City Steakhouse -- The Golden Ox -- operated on the first floor of the building from 1949 until the close of business November 8, 2003.
  • Although the Kansas City Stockyards have long been shut down as a functioning livestock trading exchange, the building has been remodeled and provides office space for Kansas City, MO's Central Industrial District manufacturing and warehouse operations.
