  • Plans were cancelled in 1926 when the top prospective tenant was purchased by the Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada.
  • The spire of the building was designed with a large beacon to be illuminated prominently at night.
  • The north facade of the design featured a total of 7 windows across its width separated into 3 bays. These bays were unbroken from floors 2 through 13 with the central bay containing 3 windows.
