Facts

  • Built by the estate of E.M. Fowler, the building was originally leased to the Kline's Ladies Wear. The business resided at the property until 1958, which was replaced by Franklin-Simon's Ladies Wear, which closed in 1977. It was then purchased by local developer Howard Fridman who housed Pam's, a women and men's clothier, until the mid 1980's.
  • Bedrock Detroit puchased the building in April 2019 and began a renovation immediately planned to last for 6-to-8 months. They plan for the ground floor to hold retail spaces, and the upper floors to house office or residential apartments.
