  • Walt Disney World's first resort features a monorail station on the hotel's fifth floor from which guests can be transported to Magic Kingdom, Epcot and other Disney resorts.
  • The hotel rooms were prefabricated and plugged into rectangular slots in the steel framing; each module measures 40 feet long, 15 feet wide and 9 feet high.
  • Thirteen pairs of 150 foot high steel A-frames comprise the structure.
  • The glazed end walls of the hotel are supported by tubular steel spaces frames.
