In the summer of 1977, an Olympic Airways Boeing 747 with engine failure that had just taken off from the old Athens Hellenikon Airport almost crashed on the building in its effort to gain altitude. No serious damages reported but since then, it's difficult for the owners of the apartments on the top floors to find decent tenants for their properties.
