  • The building has a BREEAM rating of 'excellent'.
  • The square in front of the main entrance can be used as a performance area.
  • The BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) are redeveloping their Portland Place premises to form a new headquarters complex which will, at 80,000sq m (860,000sq ft), be one of the world's largest and most advanced broadcasting facilities.
  • The scheme involved the refurbishment of Broadcasting House and the demolition of several extensions known as BHX and Broadcasting House (BHXX), along with neighbouring Egton House and 16 Langham Street.
