Facts

  • The renovation architects were awarded a First Place Honor Award in the residential category from the International Interior Design Association, Northland Chapter.
  • Originally the home of the Foot-Schultze & Company shoe factory, the Rossmor Building was for years one of the largest artist's studio buildings in the Twin Cities. Many residents lived in the building illegally.
  • The building was converted into condominiums during 2003-2004. More than half of the units sold in the first week they were available. Previous residents of the building were offered units at reduced prices and the building will remain open during the St. Paul Art Crawl.
