  • The Vinton Building has a peaked roof reminiscent of classical temples.
  • It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
  • A renovation of this building began in late March of 2006 to convert the building to residential use. Due to the developers' non-payment of the general contractor, though, reconstruction of the building was halted in March of 2008.
  • The structure was originally built by the Vinton Construction Company as their headquarters.
