The Huron Club is proposed for the northeast corner of State and Huron, currenty occupied by three Italianate and Queen Anne style rowhouses.
Originally proposed in 2002 as a roughly 500 foot tower, the building as been scaled down and will take up a 8,509 square foot site currently occupied by 2 Queen Anne style rowhouses. The third rowhouse to the east containing the Ukrainian consulate will now remain intact.
This project was approved by the Chicago Plan Commission on Thursday November 17, 2005.
