  • Palazzo Carignano was a private residence of the Princes of Carignano.
  • The whole structure has two sides which differ stylistically; a baroque west facade and the rear east facade in neo-renaissance revival style which dates from 1871.
  • Currenltly the building houses the Museum of the Risorgimento, on of the 23 museums in Italy dedicated to the unification of Italy in the 19th century.
