Facts

  • Part of the proposed Renaissance Knoxville development on the western side of downtown, the future of this tower has been put in doubt by public criticism as well as diminished economic feasibility.
  • The tower would serve as an anchor of a large, mixed-use development which would include amenities such as a luxury hotel, downtown shopping center, and a movie theatre.
  • The top five levels of the tower would be luxury, penthouse apartments, which would afford its residents with panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountains to the south and east.
  • The tower would share a 150 foot tall, glass-enclosed atrium lobby with both the adjacent hotel and movie theatre.
