  • Hansabank will rent 15,000 sq.m office space.
  • The building is a part of a plan to expand the center of Riga to the west side of the Daugava River.
  • "Saules akmens" means "sun stone" in Latvian.
  • The Hansabanka Company originally wanted a 15-story tower, but the height was increased for the final design and it became the tallest building in Latvia upon completion.
  • This was the first high-rise building built in Latvia after the end of the Soviet Union.
  • Parking area 6735 m².
  • Full computerized heating, ventilation, air conditioning and lighting (Building Management System).
  • Highest crane in construction phase rise 128,5 m.

  • In the building there are 9 high-speed elevators (Mini Space and Mono Space) with 14 500 kgs total tonnage. In 20 minutes they can serve 1100 persons (from floor 1 to floor 25). Fastest elevator is 3,5 m per second.
  • Building stands on 286 piles, each one is 27 m deep.
