  • The design's shape is a hyperbolic paraboloid.

  • Called The Key after the sponsor, Key Bank.
  • Former home of the NBA's Seattle Supersonics and present home of the WNBA's Seattle Storm.
  • During the 1962 Fair, the interior of the Washington State Pavilion was comprised of over 3,500 four-foot cubes arranged in cluster chambers, and a multimedia display was projected on the cubes depicting life in the 21st Century.
