  • The tower rises out of the 5-story Western Newspaper Union loft structure, which was built in 1913. The printing plant's façade and front structure are preserved, while the back section has been demolished.
  • The Edge is located on the western edge of Chicago's downtown, facing the Kennedy Expressway between Union Station and Greektown.
  • Eleven of the sixth-floor units have terraces on the roof of the loft building.
