Facts

  • This was originally the administration building of the Second Church of Christ Scientist, and is the narrowest tower in Minneapolis.
  • In May 2004 developers announced that the office component had been dropped in favor of 90 condominium units and a 124-unit hotel. The project is known as the Hotel Ivy + Residence.
  • Developers announced a proposal to add 22 floors of offices to the north and west of this building in 2002.
  • It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.
