Facts

  • This proposed tower encountered opposition from local neighborhood groups as being 'out of scale' with the surrounding suburban developments. The Louisville-Jefferson County Planning Commission rejected the proposal on 4 February 2002.
  • To have been located in eastern Jefferson County, the upper floors of the tower would have allowed panoramic views of Downtown Louisville, the Ohio River, and the Knobs of Southern Indiana.
  • The same developer and architects replaced this tower with the mid-rise proposal Regency Tower in 2003.
