Facts

  • The GSA, which owns and operates US federal government properties, determined in the mid-2000s that the Dulski Building would be too expensive to renovate.
  • Offices formerly housed there were moved to the Niagara Center unitl completion of the Robert H. Jackson United States Courthouse.
  • It was scheduled to be completely vacated by the summer of 2005.
  • Uniquest, a partnership of Uniland Development and Acquest Development, purchased it from the federal government in April, 2007 for $6.1 million.
  • A $60 million renovation will create a mixed-used building and introduce a new glass facade.
  • Plans call for 150 hotel rooms on the first seven floors, 125,000 square feet of office space on five middle floors, and 40 residential condominiums on the top three floors.
