Facts

  • The West Coast Title Company Building, a handsome gothic structure of limestone and brick, was acquired by the First Federal Savings and Loan Association in 1938.
  • The original building was expanded to the east and given a new facade in 1958. The new facade consisted of pale blue and gray porcelain panels with a granite base.
  • The new facade was damaged by Hurricane Alma in 1966 and replaced with an aggregate the following year.
