Facts

  • The Northwestern Bell Building was topped out in August 1970.
  • The original modern facade, which consisted of slender punched windows, had to be replaced in the late 1980s when cracks and asbestos were discovered in the exterior panels.
  • With the demolition of the Zip Feed Mill in late 2005, this has become the tallest building in Sioux Falls.
  • CenturyLink Tower is the tallest high-rise building in South Dakota.
