Facts

  • The tallest building in Billings from 1976 to 1980 until the completion of the DoubleTree by Hilton Billings.
  • Planned by First National Bank, it opened in December 1976 just before a name change. It became the First Northwestern Bank Building on January 1, 1977.
  • It later became the Norwest Bank Building in 1983. In 2000 the building was renamed Wells Fargo Plaza.
  • A 7 foot German-made cuckoo clock hangs in the first floor lobby.
