  • The building is rotated 45 degrees from the street grid, with the long axis extending southeast to northwest.
  • The Hamline Hi-Rise is on the site formerly occupied by the St. Paul Bible College. Groundbreaking ceremonies were held on May 23, 1974.
  • The Hamline Hi-Rise and the Seal Hi-Rise, two miles to the west, are the last two major multi-level housing projects constructed by the St. Paul Public Housing Agency.
