Facts

  • The Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates project team was headed by one of the firm's founders and St. Paul native, William Pedersen.
  • This is the tallest building in downtown St. Paul without direct access to the city's skyway system.
  • This tower is connected by skywalk (over 6th Street) to the older 1950-1980 headquarters building, now known as the Travelers South Building.
  • The address "385 Washington Street" is for the South Building, but the entire corporate headquarters uses this address.
  • Following a local trend of additional corporate signage, the company's logo "The St. Paul" was added to the southwestern side of the tower in late 2001. With corporate mergers, the signage was changed to "St. Paul Travelers in late 2004 and "Travelers" in late 2007.
