  • Despite being overtaken in total height by the Carlyle, this building still has Minnesota's highest residential floor at 423'-10" above grade. The roof is also slightly higher.
  • The Jackson Tower at Galtier Plaza was the tallest building in St. Paul for one year, until the 1987 completion of Wells Fargo Place, then known as the Minnesota World Trade Center.
  • The upper 21 floors in the tower are the owner-occupied Airye Condominiums, the other floors are renter-occupied apartments, part of the Towers of Galtier Plaza.
  • The apartments are accessible through a public lobby at 172 East 6th Street, while the Airye Condominiums have a private entrance at 168 East 6th Street.
  • This is the tallest building in St. Paul designed primarily by a locally-based architectural firm.
  • With the addition of its 28 foot spires, The Carlyle in Minneapolis surpassed the Jackson Tower on November 1, 2006 as the tallest residential building in the state.
