  • Had National and State status as an historic building.
  • The tallest building in the State of Kansas between 1924 and 1969 (until the 250 Douglas Place was completed), it was originally built by the Elks Club with a ballroom on the top flloor and a roof garden with dance floor, prior to conversion to an office building in the 1930's.
