  • Saint Joseph's Church was designed with features of Greek Revival and Neo-Baroque styling.
  • The chief materials are Lockport graystone and Medina sandstone.
  • The nave of Saint Joseph's was completed in 1846, making it Rochester's oldest Roman Catholic church. The tower followed in 1910.
  • In 1974 a devastating fire destroyed most of the nave, while the tower was left intact.
  • It is now maintained as a park and historic site, having been put on the National Register of Historic Places and been designated a City Landmark.
